Jacqueline Marr is one of Scotland’s finest figurative contemporary artists, a master in her field. Predominantly painting the figure in oils, Jacqueline is also known for her “Feather” paintings, patiently producing a small number of paintings each year, a virtue that benefits her collectors.
Jacqueline graduated with a BA with Honours Fine Art degree from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee University, 1999. Jacqueline has since exhibited artworks extensively throughout the UK and Europe.
Jacqueline was a heat finalist on Sky Arts Channel, Portrait Artist of the Year 2020, painting celebrity sitter Ricky Wilson, frontman of the Kaiser Chiefs and radio/TV presenter.
