As an artist, I am deeply fascinated by the liminal space between the representational and the abstract, and the myriad ways in which this space blurs the line between reality and imagination. Through my work, I aim to represent the landscape past and present, simultaneously, as it was and as it is.
By simplifying and distilling landscapes into their rawest form, I hope to create an experience that invites the viewer to reflect on the essence of the setting and contemplate their own personal connections with, ‘The Land’.
Each work is an experiment in form and materials. I use raw, earthy materials to convey a connection with the location and my interpretation of the location.
