Callendar House: New exhibitions celebrate Falkirk’s ceramic heritage and contemporary talent
Two new exhibitions are offering a look into the area’s rich pottery history and the contemporary ceramics scene in Scotland. "Dunmore: A Conversation in Pottery" and "FLUX” open this Saturday (24 August) and local people and art enthusiasts are invited to explore the legacy of Dunmore Pottery and the innovative work of modern Scottish ceramicists.
Bo’ness Town Hall to host fitness classes from Monday 6 May 2024
We have an update to share with our Bo’ness Fitness Community. From Monday 6 May our fitness class programme will be relocated to Bo’ness Town Hall. The programme will be running from Monday – Friday each week and will have 24 classes including Bodypump, Bodycombat, Bodybalance and a daily Active Forth class, coached by our same instructors.
Bo’ness Recreation Centre Closure
We can now confirm that the last day of operation for the centre will be Friday 3 May 2024.
Callendar Park Cycling Hub
Work began early January, to transform an underused area of Callendar Park into a new all season cycle skills area and aims to create a gateway to cycling at the heart of Falkirk.
New Library opening hours
From Monday 20th November Library opening hours are changing. All libraries will now be closed on Wednesdays and will open only on one late evening. Slamannan Library will now also open on Saturdays.
